Hey Choirs,
                 This week is full of fun and excitement we started Monday off with being happy VE has a rehearsal Monday at 3:30 after school last day with Keith before you preform. Tuesday is gonna be a big day for us after school we have Musical Rehearsal and Right after that we VE and Jazz Band be ready to have some fun we are headed to Layton be bring the wonderful sound of Jazz to some lovely people. So those who are heading out with them if you are in the cast of musical run out when we get dismissed at 5 so you can hurry and change into your uniforms and hop on the bus with us. VE you will be wearing your VE casual clothing so dress pants, VE polos the whole nine yards, and Jazz Band you will be in your Jazz Band attire, go have fun and bring the "Happiness" and let's "Sing Sing Sing".  Wednesday we have another Musical Rehearsal again on Wednesday just like every week.  Move aside Wednesday because Thursday is a BIG deal All State Choir you have to be at Taylorsville High School at 5:30 in your seats. You will be leaving  at Hillcrest at 5 o'clock on Thursday you will ride with the same cars as you have been riding in for the morning rehearsals. Friday All State choir is exhused from school we have to be at Taylorsville at 9 so leave the school at 8:30. Saturday is our All state concert we will ride trax down to temple square together you will be in concert dress we will have rehearsals until 4 in the tabernacle then we have out dinner break this will be about 2 hours we will be having Chuck-a-rama together it will be paid for, then our concert at 7:30. We MUST be in our seats by 7pm. Admission for the concert is free so invite everyone.

                 Fun things are happening this week we are kicking it off with Musical rehearsals this Tuesday and Wednesday.  Thursday morning there is camp dance rehearsal on the field at 6:45am if you are not there you won't be able to preform camp dance at Burning of the H. Speaking of Burning of the H that night our call is also 6:45pm and the event starts at 7pm you are free to leave after we preform and do what you wish.  Friday we have no school but VE will have to be there that night to sing the National Anthem at Hillcrest's Homecoming Game!!!!  Saturday bright and early we have All State Choir rehearsal meet at the at 6am We DON'T want a repeat  of last Saturday (remember we have pass offs so be memorized). Then there is the homecoming dance so go enjoy yourselves.

Hey Choirs,
          Remember this Friday and Saturday The 23rd &24th we have our wonderful Mattress Fundraiser Where you can invite your family and friends or just some random stranger you met on the street to come support you and our music department and help you raise money for out tour to Disneyland or help pay any random fees you have left or maybe even right. Remember we also sell sheets in a variety of colors.

P.S. That Thursday and Saturday mornings there is All State rehearsals. Thursdays is @ 7 am in the choir room and Saturday we will meet outside Hillcrest @ 6 am and we would like to leave a little before 6:30 am. Those who are in All State on Saturday morning we will be done about 10 so You will need to sign up for a later time to work the mattress sale now 10 o'lock is not set in stone so it could be later or earlier so It would be good if you signed up for a afternoon shift.

    I just wanted to remind you about our opening Music Department social it's this Saturday Sep 3rd. It will be at the Murry City Pool. There will be food, games, swimming, awesome people, and more. we all hope to see you there!!!!!!!

The food assignments are as follows:
A-D: Fruits & Vegtables
E-K: Chips & Desserts
L-Z: Salads
